Geelong's newest bar AMPED is open, and we were there for its launch

All about the music, AMPED is Geelong's newest bar that promises a good night out. With a focus on cover bands bringing you favourites from the '80s, '70s and more, there'll be a track to suit everyone.

Launching to a VIP crowd on Thursday, August 17, Social Pages VIP stopped by to see what all the excitement was about - and it did not disappoint!

Dressed to the nines, guests crowded the downstairs dance floor, marvelled over the colourful wall art and admired the view from the second level - with a rooftop bar soon to come.

As for the menu, you can expect the classics with a variety of pizzas, burgers and toasties with a few more filling options of chilli con carne, fish and chips, Moroccan tenders and more.

AMPED is open from 4pm until Wednesday to Saturday and Fromm 12pm on Sunday for lunch, with several nights featuring live bands.
