Piano Bar is hosting a night for marriage equality
There's been a lot of debate about the same-sex marriage vote, and in a further push for the 'yes' vote Piano Bar is hosting a 'Geelong says YES' night.
Set for Thursday, October 5, the event is in affiliation with the yes movement, and is set to be a night of singing, dancing and celebrations. More importantly, the venue recognises that to pass this vote, there needs to be hundreds of thousands of people having the conversation with their family and friends as to why voting yes is important.
As the venue says: "We have decided to throw a party with the aim that we all message as many of contacts as possible about what marriage equality means to us and just how important it is to vote YES."
Admission is free, but you must RSVP here. Oh, and to top it all off a little birdy told us there would be $5 wines. You're welcome.
For more information visit the venue's Facebook event. Piano Bar is located 26 Malop St, Geelong.
