The Eureka Hotel throws its last hoorah this month
After 105 years, more than 1,000 artists and over a million people through its doors, the Eureka hotel is set to have its last night on Saturday, November 25.
The venue has been the location for many defining moments of Geelong, with such legends as INXS playing the venue six times as well as Goanna and Cold Chisel passing by.
Many will remember countless drunken nights dancing against sweaty bodies until the shock of the lights getting switched on for closing time, and a signal for the long, delirious trek home.
Its loss will mark the end of an era for many for going out. So it's only fitting to give the venue the farewell party it deserves.
The celebrations will see two levels of entertainment, six bars, three rooms of music and an 'anything goes' dress code.
It all kicks off at 8pm, for more information visit the Facebook event page.
