18th Amendment Bar is hosting Geelong's first ever Espresso Martini Competition
For the very first time, the 18th Amendment Bar is hosting an espresso martini competition to settle the score on which bartender makes the finest version of the cocktail.
The event is set for Tuesday, November 14 at 7pm with doors opening at 6pm. Cocktails will be judged by Clint Amos (the Block 2017), Nathan James Johnston (Coffee Cartel), Cay Kuijpers (model and presenter) and a random member from the public, chosen on the night.
With such a long history for the cocktail, dating back to its creation by Dick Bradsell in the late 1980s, we're proud to be partnering with the 18th Amendment Bar, De Kuyper Cafe and 42 Below Vodka to put on this event.
During the event there will also be drink specials thanks to event partners De Kuyper Cafe and 42 Below Vodka.
As there are many variations of the cocktail, selected bartenders from the area will share their recipe on the night with the Espresso Martini King to be crowned at the bar on the night.
Entry is free, with the official event kicking off from 7pm. For more information visit the bar's Facebook page. Or keep up to date with Social Pages VIP.
