Your fave UNO Danceclub is closing

In sadder news for Geelong's nightlife, and following the announcement Eureka is closing, UNO is also set for it's last night month of operation this month, with the last event set for November 25.

As the club said: "With heavy hearts and teary eyes; we announce due to circumstances completely out of our control this will be the last month of UNO Danceclub at our home on Yarra Street."

Since opening in 2015, UNO has played host to Claptone, Motez, Adana Twins, Super Flu, Cut Copy, Monkey Safari, Tash Sultana, Hayden James and more, bringing some of the biggest club and music names to Geelong's door.

"Since the day we opened, we have been blessed with an amazingly supportive, open-minded community of people that call UNO their Saturday night home, and we cannot thank you enough for that. Without your love and support, we could never have achieved what we have," the club adds.

The club will close with a bang, with three nights lined up to see the venue out - and give you plenty of chance to mourn. On the 11th and 18th will be the resident showcases and on the 25th (titled the Last Dance) will feature Catz n Dogz.

We wish the team all the best for the amazing addition they made to Geelong's nightlife, and we're sure many can attest to the fun of an UNO Saturday!

To celebrate what the club offered and send them off with a bang, head to their last few nights. For more info visit the Facebook event page.
