One to try: Picket Fence on Pakington Street

Just when you thought you heard the last new cafe opening in Geelong, guess again. In our eyes, there is simply no such thing as too much coffee.

This newest cafe is actually a remodel of a favourite, as this new spot Picket Fence is formally Pakington Cottage.

Located at 359 Pakington Street, the cafe has undergone extensive renovations and as a result has a completely new look. The coffee machines have moved spots and add for streamlined service when picking up your latte.

With head chef Mitch Knight in the kitchen, food dished up is an entirely new offering as well. With one delicious (and very 'grammable) menu item the poached leek, rye crumble, spring onion, carrot, turnip and yuzu dressing. Look at the image below and you'll see what we mean.

This new look is thanks to owner Nadia Atwa, and well worth a try for your next brunch date. We'll see you there.
