Austins & Co. is having a wine, chocolate and cheese night
As things get colder, we find ourselves craving the comfort of wine, cheese and chocolate more and more. That's why it's very fitting Austins & Co. is hosting a night to celebrate the three things as part of the Winter Shiraz Weekend.
Held on July 7 and 8 from 11am to 4pm, the event is free to enter but with various tantalising treats and experiences available to purchase. On offer will be red wine hot chocolates, delicious toasties, grazing platters, masterclasses with a 'Create and decorate your own chocolate bar' and interactive Shiraz tastings.
Essentially the weekend is a celebration of Moorabool produce and the region as a whole, with bread from Pane di Matteo, platters made by Platter Co. by Jade and chocolate from Moorabool Valley Chocolate. And the wine, well, that one should be obvious.
Entertainment as you eat to your heart's content will come via local muso Abe Anderson.
While it is free to attend, if you plan on heading to the masterclass or having a grazing platter package bookings are recommended. Which you can do so here.
All that's left for you to do is rock up with an empty stomach ready for some comfort food and heart-warming Shiraz.
