Join well-known chef Shannon Bennett at an afternoon tea this July
As part of the many Tastes of Central Geelong events, esteemed chef Shannon Bennett is taking part in an afternoon tea event where you can hear a bit of his story while eating delicious treats.
Shannon is best known for his flagship restuarant, Vue de monde, with many cafes, bistros and restaurants opened since then. Soon after opening Vue de monde (when he was 24 mind you) he won the Australian Gourmet Traveller's 'Best New Talent' award.
At the upcoming afternoon tea event held at The Pier on Saturday, July 21, you can catch Shannon in conversation with gt editor Kylie Oliver as they discuss his journey.
Tickets are $55 and include a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, prizes and, of course, the indulgent afternoon tea.
