Blackman's Brewery is hosting a women's fundraising beer event
Blackman's Brewery is hosting an event for a good cause on Saturday, September 1. Raising funds for Share the Dignity (an Australian charity who gives sanitary products to homeless women and fights for domestic violence victims), the event is for women only, in particular, women who love a good beer.
The event takes place at the Good Beer Bar by Blackman's in Geelong, and involves three karma kegs of Blackman's Brewery, Rogue Wave Brewing and Stomping Ground Brewing Co. Essentially, a karma keg is where you nominate the price you want to pay for each beer - with the money going towards the charity.
Entry to the event is $5, with a live auction, raffles and prizes throughout the night. 100% of proceeds from the night will go towards the charity.
