The Mane Event is Geelong's festival for suicide prevention and mental health awareness

Happening next month at the Barwon Club on October 6, this will be the fifth installment of the Mane Event for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Mental illness is something that affects 1 in 5 Australians every year, and is somehow still a taboo subject.

The festival features over 20 acts with headliners All Our Exes Live in Texas and Jeff Lang. Proceeds from the day will go towards the work of the Black Dog Institute.
