The Wintergarden cafe has reopened under new owners
After closing some time ago, the Wintergarden cafe has reopened under new owners.
Taken over by Jane McPhee and Fiona Mannix, who also own Beach Tree Nursery at Mount Duneed, the space operates as a cafe and nursery - with many plants, succulants and terrariums available for purchase.
The menu celebrates local produce and modern Australian cuisine with all the cafe favourites. Such specials have previously been a cauliflower and white bean salad and a beef and fennel sausage roll.
There is also a large array of cakes and slices on offer which are all made on site by the chef.
You can find the Wintergarden cafe at 51 McKillop Street, Geelong. The cafe is opened seven days a week from 7am until 3pm, with the nursery open until 4pm.
